Malhotra heads north to Vancouver

Manny Malhotra got paid, and he deserves what he got. Manny will get 2.5 mil a season from the Canucks for the next three seasons. The deal includes a no trade clause.

Malhotra was a key member last season for the Sharks at even strength and on the penalty kill.

Obviously the Sharks were looking to re-sign Manny, but at 2.5 mil a season, it is apparent he was too expensive for San Jose to retain.

I wish the best to Manny in Vancouver. The Canucks just added some serious depth to their roster.
