What if your rival was a nice guy?

Hey everyone, check out the Boston Bruins FanSided blog, the Causeway Crowd, for an excellent story about the Canucks’ Alexandre Burrows. After the Stanley Cup Finals Burrows was a name never to be spoken in Boston under any circumstances.

But as writer Steve Kendall found out, perceptions about a player can be completely wrong. Kendall met and hung out a bit with Burrows at a Quebec ball hockey tournament. The result of all this: Burrows is a pretty good guy! Once again here is the link to that story.

So the answer to this article’s title is: You shouldn’t judge a book by its cover. Just as you should actually try to get to know someone before you make a personal judgement about them. Great stuff Kendall!
