Friday Fight Club #4 @ BofT *Update – Fixed the Nolan/Barnaby Clip!!!

Here we go with week #4 of Friday Fight Club @ Blades of Teal. Before we get started, I must remind you that the first rule of Friday Fight Club @ BofT is: Tell everyone about Friday Fight Club @ BofT!!!

Let’s keep the focus on former Shark Owen Nolan. A former 1st overall NHL Draft Pick of the Quebec Nordiques, Nolan has the ability to put the puck in the net and drop the gloves if the opportunity presented itself. He is one tough customer and was the face (and captain) of the San Jose franchise for some time. Let’s take a look at some instances with the Sharks where Nolan dropped the gloves:

Here we go with Nolan vs. Richard Smehlik of the Buffalo Sabres. Two things about this clip: (1) What was Smehlik thinking? and (2) Gotta love the blow-by-blow call from Rick Jeanneret!
