Sharkie’s Big Adventure!

On November 16 I set out on an adventure, moving across country from Georgia to California. I decided to take my San Jose Sharkie mascot doll along with me for the ride to take pictures with him as we travelled. I would post the photos to my twitter account and would @ mention @SJSharkie, the mascot twitter account. Low and behold @SJSharkie responded to and re-tweeted photos I was posting! In the end, the Shark himself, Sharkie, asked where we were sitting during the Nov 23rd game at the Tank via Twitter and he came and found us for a photo op! Not only did the Sharks put on a great game to watch and beat Chicago, my mini SJ Sharkie doll got to meet his idol! Two things came out of this in my opinion; number one, the Sharks organization is really attentive to their fans and number two, Twitter is a powerful thing!
