Logan Gets Picked Last

Well, I think his twitter said it all this morning “To all the unathletic/fat kids who were picked last in gym class…I feel you” ~@LoganCouture. I don’t know how much he is actually identifying with those kids, because while I’m sure he is getting chirped by the boys for being chosen last just as the kids do, he walked away from the ordeal with a new car and ten grand for the grassroots hockey charity of his choice…the benders chosen last in normal games, walk away with nothing. The good news is, now Logan gets to help all of those last choice kids with that ten thousand dollars and hopefully turn some of them into first round draft picks in the future! The thing that I really like about Logan being chosen last and receiving that money (and the car, but that’s neither here nor there), is that it stays in line with the amazing charitable nature of the Sharks organization. On Monday the Sharks host their annual Wine Tasting event to raise funds for the Sharks Foundation and that is just ONE of the many things throughout the year our boys do to assist the community they live, work, and play in! I for one am glad that Mr. Couture was the last pick, because at the end of the day, he’s still an All Star and he’s still one of our Sharks! For more information on Sharks charity events CLICK HERE!
