BoT Gameday: Sabres @ Sharks

facebooktwitterreddit

After one of the most entertaining 1-0 games you’ll ever see, the San Jose Sharks attempt to bring the winning streak to two tonight against the Buffalo Sabres. Two teams who were predicted to be at the top of their respective conferences, now are fighting to stay afloat in the playoff race.

Buffalo shutout Anaheim 2-0, helping the Sharks ease of some steam from the surging Ducks. A team that spent a good chunk of money in the offseason as a push with their new owner, to get a winning product back on the ice in Western New York. The Sabres hope to continue their dominance of Team Teal. The team formerly known as the Buffaslugs, are 17-6-4-1 all time against San Jose.

For the Sharks, all the pieces are reportedly skating this morning. Martin Havlat (will not play) has been seen in a “top six” practice jersey as is Logan Couture. Dominic Moore is expected to return and center the fourth line. Douglas Murray is still out with his adam’s apple injury but is skating and prepping for his return. Lineups will be changing for sure in the coming weeks and perhaps the depth is a good thing. As we enter March, tonight will be the first game in a Sharks record 17 games in the month.

All games are crucial, time to go all in and all out! LET’S PUCKING DO THIS!
