BoT Roundtable – Blueline Buddies

Time again to play matchmaker with our beloved sharks.  Here’s the pairing I asked our writers about this time:

Who do you think should be the top defensive pairing this season?

Andy
Burns & Vlasic.

Joe
If we’re going by name, BOYLE AND BURN!!!
But the pairing that makes most sense is Vlasic and Burns, at least to start the year off and let Stuart get reacquainted with the system on the second line w/ Boyle.

Benny
Burns and Braun. Break out year for both.

Mike
I would love to see Boyle play with Stuart and Burns play with Vlasic.  I’m a big fan of Brent Burns, he’s strong on the puck, great at leading the rush and is a big body to move around in the defensive zone. Also the double number “88″ looks amazing on a jersey.  Hoping they get the nod.

Darryl
I’ll go with Boil & Burn too…what the heck?

Erik
Boyle and Burnzie or Stuart

Amy
Burns and Stuart….just cuz.

Gordon
Burns for sure and either Stuart or Braun up with him.  I think either of those combos will give the team a great balance of physicality and speed.
