San Jose Sharks 48-Game Season Schedule Announced…

The NHLPA ratified the new CBA Saturday afternoon to put the NHL back in business and officially ending the Lockout which officially lasted 119 days. With the new 10 year CBA deal being struck, the NHL released their schedule for a 48 game season starting next weekend. The official opening date will be January 19th for most teams. The Sharks however will open their 2012-13 campaign next Sunday at the Saddledome in Calgary versus the Flames. The Sharks will then play at Edmonton on January 22nd before returning to the Shark Tank for a six game home stand. The Sharks first game at the Tank will be Thursday, January 24th hosting the visiting Phoenix Coyotes. The next five games of the home stand are games against Phoenix, Colorado, Vancouver, Anaheim, Edmonton, Nashville.
