Tonight, the San Jose Sharks look to build off of their electric 5-1 win against the Tampa Bay Lightning as they face the New Jersey Devils, their second opponent of this difficult five-game home stand.
Having come off from their lengthy five-game road trip with an ugly 5-1 loss to the defending Stanley Cup Champs, the Sharks spent their three-day rest period regrouping and figuring out what exactly went wrong. They arrived at the SAP Center for a chance to redeem themselves against the Lightning, and they did.
Meanwhile, the Devils have plans of their own, as they are currently on a three-game winning streak, with wins against the L.A. Kings, Anaheim Ducks, and Pittsburgh Penguins. Will they complete their sweep of California and make it four straight wins?
