As the head coach of the New Jersey Devils, you have to make the call whether to start Martin Brodeur, an elite world-class goaltender, or Cory Schneider, the back-up traded all the way from the Vancouver Canucks last offseason. It’s a tricky one for me, but if I had to guess it’ll be Brodeur who’ll get the start. He currently has two shut outs and a .915 save percentage.
Antti Niemi will presumably get the start for San Jose after giving up just one goal and posting his second-best save percentage of the season on Thursday night.
