It’s been over two years since the San Jose Sharks met up with the Pittsburgh Penguins, San Jose winning 4-3 in a shootout on Nov. 3, 2011. This afternoon, they’ll go at it again in their first meeting together at Consol Energy Center in Pittsburgh.
The Sharks come into the game looking to extend their six-game winning streak. Coming off of a successful home stand, they started their four-game road trip with win number six against the Toronto Maple Leafs.
