1) Be responsible defensively.

The Sharks D-men have to know who they’re covering and know what zones they’re covering. Don’t leave any gaps on defense. The forwards also have to do their parts defensively.

2) Traffic In Front The New Jersey Goalie

Martin Brodeur is a legend and outstanding goalie. The Sharks have to have net front presence and get in the eyes of Brodeur.

3) Pucks to the Net

For San Jose, don’t get cute with the passes. Pepper Brodeur with as many shots as possible. Drive hard for rebounds. Nose on the puck.
