Well. I’ve fallen a little bit behind, haven’t I. Apologies for the delay, been a hectic end of the week/weekend here, but I haven’t forgotten about the fact that hockey is 3 days away! But because I’ve missed so much, here are the best number 7, 6, 5, 4, and 3 in San Jose Sharks history.

The best number 7 in San Jose Sharks history is Igor Larionov. Igor only played three seasons in San Jose, well basically two seasons, but he was impressive each season. He put up 56 points in 60 games, 24 points in 33 games the next season, and then he had 2 points in 4 games the following year. Not really even sure if you can count that, but still good enough statistics from Igor Larionov to make him the best number 7 in San Jose Sharks history.

The best number 6 is Sandis Ozolinsh. Ozolinsh may have been a defenseman, but he had three years of quality point totals in San Jose, none of which being better than the 1993-1994 season where he had 60 points in 81 games. He only spent three years in San Jose before being traded to Colorado, but those three seasons were very productive, and make him the best number 6 in Sharks history.

The best number 5 in San Jose Sharks history is Jason Demers. Jason Demers has only been number 5 for two years, and during the first year, he was horrendous. He was out of place constantly defensively, and his offensive production was abysmal with only 3 points in 22 games. However, due to lack of other options, and a terrific year last year which saw him get 34 points in 75 games, but also saw him improve dramatically defensively, he is the best number 5 in San Jose Sharks history.

The best number 4 in San Jose Sharks history is Hall of Famer Rob Blake. Rob spent the last two years of his career in San Jose, became captain of the Sharks, and contributed 45 and 30 points respectively. He was also a terrific defenseman, and it added a lot to the Sharks to have a Hall of Famer on their team. Rob Blake is a truly great player, and that’s why he’s the best number 4 in Sharks history. Now I’m going to stop saying nice things about Rob Blake because he was a King and gross.

The best number 3 in San Jose Sharks history is Doug Bodger. He played two seasons in San Jose with the number 3 and had 23 points and 15 points which isn’t great. But it’s the best out of who else has worn that number, so that makes Doug the best number 3 in Sharks history.

3 days until hockey, folks. Hope you guys are as excited as I am.
