Manny Malhotra returned to the ice tonight against the Bruins after missing the past six games. He logged 15 minutes and 46 seconds of ice time and recorded three shots on goal.
He was back on the Sharks “checking line” with Scott Nichol and Jed Ortmeyer.
Malhotra put his injury in the past as he addressed what the Sharks needed to do in the second half of the season. “Coming down the stretch, the secondary scoring has to pick up a bit. We can’t rely on (the first line) so much. It’s important for the success of the team gong down the road.”
