Bad Bounce Sinks Sharks in Game One

It was a bad bounce with fifty seconds left. All Sharks fans saw it. Not one wants to remember it. As the puck deflected off of Rob Blake’s skate and into the net, the entire Shark Tank went deadly silent. I know this because I was there. It was devastating, but after reflecting on the game tonight, I sensibly realized that it is only game one.

Did thoughts enter my mind from the last few playoff series’ against Anaheim, Dallas, and Edmonton? Absolutely they did, as those thoughts are only natural.

Do I believe the Sharks are going to lose this series? No I do not.

I did see a few good things come out of tonight’s game however that I would like to note on. Devin Setoguchi played very well tonight, as his the rest of his line mates who go by Joe Pavelski and Ryan Clowe. Props to those three guys for showing up. The Heater also looked good in my opinion and he brings a new element to the playoffs that the Sharks have not had in a while, and that is a fearless attitude of shooting the puck. He did hit a post tonight and I have a good feeling that those posts will eventually turn into goals.

More to come later today and tomorrow and I let my brain decompose what just happened in game one…………until then GO SHARKS
