BoT Gameday: Blues @ Sharks

Good news, bad news with the Sharks. Good news is this. San Jose has allowed just one goal in it’s last two games. Normally, that’s a great accomplishment. However, the bad news is they have one scored one goal, currently on a 118:38 scoreless streak, and 1-1 in the two game stretch. But changes are coming.
From the media who attended the morning skate, Logan Couture will return tonight after resting the last two games with what the team stated was an unspecified injury. Defenseman Douglas Murray may return as well but said “ask the coach” on whether or not he’ll play. Crankshaft has missed the last eight games due to an injured Adam’s Apple. Both players will give Team Teal a much needed push. As for head coach Todd McLellan who spoke to media after talking to general manager Doug Wilson about his status. Sounds like he is still having issues, so perhaps assistant coaches Matt Shaw and Jay Woodcroft will be the two behind the bench.
As for the Blues, they saw their four game winning streak go by the way side thanks to the Vancouver Canucks. Vezina trophy candidate Brian Elliot has lost three straight, despite only giving up seven goals in that span. St. Louis currently second in a very intense race in the Central Division where they flip flop with Detroit for the top spot.
A huge game and perhaps a potential playoff matchup, LET’S PUCKING DO THIS!
