2013-14 Season Stats: 6 GP, 1 G, 1 A, plus-2, 21 SOG

Analysis: Prior to having his head put through the boards by Maxim Lapierre, Dan Boyle was likely set for a few strong offensive outings. While the Sharks had been piling up goals, Boyle had alarmingly not been very involved in the point production. Still, he’d taken a whopping 21 shots, and the puck would have started going in for him eventually.

Even with the quiet starts, Boyle was on pace for 14 goals and 14 assists, which isn’t half-bad for a 37 year-old defender. For now, we’ll just be glad that it appears likely he’ll return without concussion issues haunting him.
