2013-14 Season Stats: 7 GP, 2 G, 0 A, plus-9, 10 SOG

Analysis: The Sharks have a good one in Justin Braun. After being taken with the 201st overall pick in 2007, the Minnesota-native is heading into his third season as a full-time Shark and seems to have really settled into a groove. He was defensively suspect at times in 2013, and finished the season as a minus-five player.

Something clearly clicked for Braun over the summer, who has been a stud in his own end while putting up some timely numbers for San Jose. It’s tough to think of anything more we could have expected out of Braun as the season kicked off, and he’s been surprisingly sound defensively for the Sharks thus far.
