The Buffalo Sabres are among the worst teams in the NHL, but they do posses some talented players despite what their record would indicate. Matt Moulson—who Buffalo recently acquired in a blockbuster trade—is a hound in front of the net and loves to score from the dirty areas of the ice. San Jose’s defenders could have their hands full with him if he gets too comfortable.

Skating alongside Moulson is Tyler Ennis, who is undersized but quick and intelligent. Tyler Myers finally scored his first goal of the season on Saturday and could be playing a more confident game, while everyone in the league knows what Steve Ott is going to bring to the table on a nightly basis.

Then there’s Ryan Miller. Despite his awful record, he’s had some pretty spectacular outings recently. The goalie can’t stop the goals and score them too though, and the offensive support he’s been receiving is just nonexistent.
