San Jose Sharks: John Scott Registers First Goal Of The Season

Yes, you read the title correctly. Just over half a period into the game, San Jose Sharks forward John Scott skated around Washington Capitals’ Brooks Orpik and calmly shot the puck past Braden Holtby and into the top-shelf twine. The goal advanced the Sharks to a 3-0 lead over the Capitals and chased Holtby from his net.

Behold, John Scott’s 3rd goal of his career and first since December 27, 2013.

It appears that Adam Burish is also a pretty good soccer player as his beautiful kick pass ultimately gave Scott the opportunity. Scott, of course, almost got in a fight immediately after his 1st goal of the 2014-15 year.

His smile says it all.
