After four straight losses, the San Jose Sharks are attempting to bring home a win tonight against the Anaheim Ducks.

This is the first of five games against the Ducks this campaign. Last season the Sharks were able to win three of five and there’s no reason to believe that a better outcome can’t be received this year. That is unless you consider the 4-4-1 record the Sharks have compared to the 7-1-0 record that the Ducks.

“We have a great test tomorrow,” said Matt Nieto. “We play Anaheim, and there’s no better way to get back on track than to beat them. They’re doing well right now so that would be huge for us.”

Coach Todd McLellan commented that the team is going to have to check better as a whole if they have any intentions of winning. Not only that, but playing the entire 60 minutes is going to be key.
