Once again, Brent Burns of the San Jose Sharks chose to shave his head in an attempt to raise money for charity.
Today it all went down. This is the second year in a row that Burns has done this event. Last year, it was his wife’s idea to shave it all off in a way to get ready for the start of Movember.
Chris Tierney, Barclay Goodrow, James Sheppard, Scott Hannan, Joe Pavelski and Mirco Mueller joined in the action and joined Burns in shaving their heads.
The three organizations being represented are Defending the Blue Line, the Katie Moore Foundation and the San Francisco Zoo.
Donations were being accepted by the San Jose Sharks foundation until midnight of November 1. The goal was to raise $5,000 for each of the three organizations.
Pavelski and Goodrow went first:

Followed by Sheppard and Mueller. As you can see, those involved were definitely having fun with the buzzers!

I’m sure everyone had fun with the event. I have yet to hear a final number of what was raised this year.
Now get ready to see some amazing mustaches for Movember!
