It’s been more than a week since the disappointment of the Stanley Cup Final but there is still plenty of news surrounding team teal.

The San Jose Sharks and their fans have had some time to get over the stinging loss to the Pittsburgh Penguins last Sunday.

Now, as we shift towards the offseason, there is still plenty to get caught up on as San Jose looks to make a return to the Cup Finals next year.

From looking ahead to player reviews to reliving some of our favorite moments from the past two months, get caught up on everything you’ve missed in the latest Sharks weekly roundup:

– Despite falling short, San Jose and everyone associated with this franchise should be proud of the historic run team teal was able to put together in taking this organization to new heights.

– San Jose wasted very little time in moving forward as they released their 2016-17 preseason schedule which will see team teal play home-and-home games with the Anaheim Ducks, Arizona Coyotes and Vancouver Canucks.

– After being very busy in remaking this team last year, Doug Wilson won’t have as much work to do this summer but does have some key priorities to focus on to improve this Sharks squad.

More from Blades of Teal

– San Jose did receive some good news on the injury front as Tomas Hertl, who missed the final four games of the Stanley Cup Final with a knee injury, won’t require surgery.

– While often overlooked because of the play of his partner Marc-Edouard Vlasic, Justin Braun took a big step forward for the Sharks this year.

– Sticking on the blue line, Brent Burns was someone who took his game to a whole different level as he established new franchise records in both the regular and postseasons.

– Although he couldn’t crack the lineup during the postseason, Dylan DeMelo showed plenty of promise as a rookie and should be someone to look out for next season.

– Many people didn’t expect much when the Sharks signed Dainius Zubrus early on in the year, but it proved to be a shrewd move as he provided nice depth for team teal.

– We began our countdown of the Top 10 playoff moments for San Jose and of course, it started with Joe Pavelski delivering a clutch goal to give the Sharks a 2-0 series lead over the Nashville Predators.

– Our number nine moment takes us all the way back to Game One of these playoffs when the Sharks and Kings engaged in a back-and-forth affair before Pavelski’s second goal of the night set the tone for this postseason run.

Next: Couture Nearly Willed Sharks To Cup

– In looking at moment number eight, we return to the San Jose, L.A. series where team teal used a power-play explosion to take a commanding 3-1 series lead over their bitter rivals.

– Finally, as we make our way to our number seven moment, one of Wilson’s key offseason signings came through in a big way as Joel Ward’s blast midway through the third period of Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Final gave the Sharks a bit of life.
