The San Jose Sharks are seeking to cap off a perfect home stand with a victory over the red-hot St. Louis Blues

This afternoon the San Jose Sharks have an opportunity to leapfrog the Calgary Flames for sole possession of first place in the Pacific Division. However the Blues aren’t going to give up these two points that easily, considering St. Louis is also fighting for playoff positioning in the Central.

Team Teal have won 3 straight games scoring at least 4 goals in each of those contests. They’ve battled through lots of illness and injury over the past week or so, but it doesn’t seem to be slowing down this explosive San Jose Sharks roster.

During this 3 game winning streak this Sharks team has strung together some impressive underlying numbers. They’ve got into the dangerous areas with ease posting a 57.50 HDCF% and converting on their opportunities in tight recording at at a 70% rate in terms of HDGF%, per naturalstattrick.

Regardless of the situation the San Jose Sharks have found a way to accumulate points in the standings.  Team Teal is without both Erik Karlsson and Evander Kane yet again tonight, but will still be icing a potent group of skaters.
