San Jose are 3-1-1 in their last five games and will be looking to continue to build on their recent success as they go to Madison Square Garden to take on the newest team in the NHL, the New York Rangers. It’ll be a difficult game, but this has the potential to be a really good learning experience for a young San Jose Sharks team. You learn from the best when you compete against the best.

David Quinn will be going up against his former employers, so getting a win for the coach would be a great sign. Quinn coached the Rangers for three seasons, guiding them through their rebuild and trying to bring their young talent into the fold to play with the stars on the roster. Now, he is being asked to do a similar job in the Bay Area. A win against his old team would be a great sign things are going in the right direction.

Former Sharks Nick Bonino and Barclay Goodrow will be seen against the organization tomorrow. Hopefully, former New York Ranger Anthony Duclair can cause some pain for his old team and get on the scoreboard with his speed. If he can do that, the Sharks will give themselves a chance. This Rangers team is difficult to beat, but we’ve seen stranger things happen in this sport.

Puck Drop Time

This will be a 3 p.m Pacific puck drop time from the most historical building in the NHL. San Jose will try to prove that the New York lights are not too bright for the guys in teal and that these kids deserve to be in the show. Well, if you want to prove you belong in the show, where is better than Broadway? Beating New Jersey was good, but this is a Rangers team among the best in the NHL.
