The Sharks have acquired a goaltender, picking up Alex Nedeljkovic from the Pittsburgh Penguins. The Sharks are sending a 2028 3rd-round pick to complete the deal.

The San Jose Sharks have signed defenseman John Klingberg to a 1-year 4 million contract. Additionally, they have signed versatile forward Adam Gaudette to a 2-year contract worth $2 million per season.

Free Agency is officially underway, and the Sharks got to work quickly with extending one of their core players beyond next season, signing young star William Eklund to a 3-year contract extension.

As we head into free agency on July 1st, the deadline to qualify restricted free agents was today at 2 pm. The Sharks have qualified three players and decided to let eight players hit free agency tomorrow.

The Sharks have announced the dates and roster for their 2025 Development Camp. The Full roster can be found here. Development Camp will run from June 30th to July 3rd.

The 2025 draft has finally concluded. The Sharks made a total of 9 picks on the day and added a ton of talent and potential upside at every position throughout the draft.

With the 95th pick in the 2025 draft, the Sharks selected center/winger Teddy Mutryn out of Chicago of the USHL.

With the 53rd pick, the Sharks selected Cole McKinney out of the NTDP. This completes the Zetterlund Return for the Sharks, receiving Zack Ostapchuk, Noah Gregor, and Cole McKinney.

The Sharks selected Simon (Haoxi) Wang from the Oshawa Generals. Making him the highest drafted Chinese player in NHL history to date. The big defender is 6’6 with loads of upside to work with.

Heading into Day 2, there are still loads of talented players available at the draft, with two picks in the 2nd round. I'm going to be looking at four players, I think the Sharks could target.

After taking Michael Misa 2nd overall, the Sharks took a swing for the fences with their 2nd first-round pick, selecting Goaltender Joshua Ravensbergen with the 30th overall pick.

At the end of the day, the Sharks stayed with the consensus and took the offensive superstar out of Saginaw, Michael Misa. Misa dominated in the OHL, scoring 62 goals and 134 points for the Spirit.

The Sharks have placed defenseman Marc-Edouard Vlasic on unconditional waivers for the purpose of a buyout. Should he clear, he is set to become an unrestricted free agent.
