San Jose Sharks look to make two straight wins in matinee against the Ottawa Senators
The San Jose Sharks snapped a 12 game losing streak in Montreal. They have won their first game in a calendar month. They have started to close in on the Chicago Blackhawks for 31st place in the NHL standings. They will get the chance to move closer to the teams ahead of them with a weekend matinee in the Canadian Capitol as the Ottawa Senators will host the men in teal. It'll be a difficult game, but the Sharks can make it two straight wins.
Ottawa have a lot of offensive talent, but leave a lot to be desired in their own zone. If the Sharks can keep the Senators big guns silent, chances will come for the team in teal at the other end of the ice. It's a difficult task to keep those talented players down, but the Sharks have proven they have the quality of goaltending you need for that to happen. It'll be an interesting battle between those two.
Former San Jose Sharks draft pick Joshua Norris will be featuring for the Senators. Dealt to Ottawa in the deal that brought Erik Karlsson to the Bay Area, Norris has developed into a strong center in Canada. Former Senator Mike Hoffman will be making a return to Ottawa with the Sharks. Former players on both teams makes this quite a throwback for fans on both sides to enjoy watching.

This will be a 1 PM Pacfic start time, and the Sharks get to enjoy some early hockey. The good news is that everyone will be able to choose to watch it if they want, since its a weekend matinee. It also means it cannot ruin your night if they lose. However, it means that there isn't Sharks hockey to look forward to tonight, and that is a true bummer. So lets enojoy the tank effort tonight!
