San Jose Sharks penultimate game of the year sees them visit the Edmonton Oilers
It's the penultimate game of the season for the San Jose Sharks, and with last place in the standings already mathematically secured, the organization has opted to go down the path of youth for the final few games. It starts tonight when the Sharks make the long trip to Edmonton, Alberta, where the Oilers will await. Earlier in the year, the Sharks beat the Oilers and got Jay Woodcroft fired, but that was long ago.
With the team in teal looking towards the future, we'll see if the bright Lund line can continue to produce at the rate it has been going into this game as the Sharks look to get the best from their youngsters—players like William Eklund, Fabian Zetterlund, and that crop of younger players. San Jose needs them to develop to create a brighter future for the organization. If the Sharks can do that, we can all enjoy more wins next year.

Puck Drop
Tonight's 7 p.m. puck drop will see the Sharks look for a few silver linings before we end this awful season. We know that the Sharks are taking on a playoff team that is expected to blow them out of the water and will probably oblige, but a few more points tonight could be a great way to lift the morale of the squad before a long summer. Prospects in college may join this roster next year, so it's a great place to start winning and encourage them to sign.
