San Jose Sharks return home from a two game road trip to host the Dallas Stars
After playing less than a week ago in Texas, taking on the Dallas Stars, the two teams will run it back at the Shark tank as the San Jose Sharks host the Dallas Stars. Last time, these two teams went the distance as they needed a long shootout for the Dallas Stars to take the extra point. A difficult loss late in Minnesota allowed the Wild to take the win in regulation and continued the Sharks recent poor run of results. A chance to attone is at hand for the team in teal tonight.
For the Sharks, this is the penultimate game before the trade deadline on Friday. It's a good chance for the players that the Sharks know have interest from around the league to showcase themselves and prove that they are going to be better on a team that wants to contend for the cup. Playoff performances are all about showing up when it matters most, and now would be a good chance for them to show they are capable for playoff rosters.

Puck Drop
This is a 7:30 puck drop from the Shark Tank. San Jose's scoring woes will need to stop if the organization is going to see its deadline value increase. Dallas are a very strong hockey club and it could be a long night if the Sharks are not playing well. Hopefully, we will start to get news of trades and deals instead of having to focus on the game in a while.
