The San Jose Sharks continue this long road trip vs. the Tampa Bay Lightning. They had a big comeback against Dallas and won 5-3, but they were flat in Chicago and in Florida. Will the Sharks continue their losing ways or will the leaders step up in a big game that the Sharks desperately need? The Sharks need to win tonight in Tampa Bay to prove to themselves that they can beat the best team in the NHL.

The Sharks need to win tomorrow. They have looked absolutely awful the past few games and need to be ready to play from the beginning all the way to the end. The guys have no room to slip in this game as the Lightning are an incredibly aggressive team. Niemi has to be strong from now on since Stalock is out and I don’t know if Grosenick will get much or any playing time. The big time players have to step up for the Sharks.
