Details exposed of San Jose Sharks Stadium Series

There have been rumors about a San Jose Sharks vs. Los Angeles Kings Stadium Series since the beginning of summer, however Ticketmaster may have just confirmed these suspicions.

For around three hours on Saturday, the ticket selling website had tickets for sale to the 2015 Coors Light Stadium Series on February 21 between the two teams at Levi’s Stadium. It was quickly taken down, but not before fans could take a snapshot of the offer and share it across the web.

Nothing has been announced by the NHL, however it seems likely that something will need to be released to either verify or refute the offer, and soon. To further increase the likelihood of the event, the two teams are already scheduled to play on February 21, with the game set to play on NBC at 7 pm PT. It would be an easy transition to have this game located in Santa Clara.

The Stadium Series between the Los Angeles Kings and the Anaheim Ducks last season was a huge hit, and it would make sense to bring such an event to Northern California. The biggest concern of the game was whether the ice would hold up, and it did with very few bumps in the road.

I had originally expected the event to take place at AT&T Park in San Francisco, however Levi’s Stadium is larger and showcasing the new building would make sense from a publicity standpoint.

Once confirmed, this is going to be an event that no one wants to miss!
