2013-14 Review

Offseason Events
The Sharks retained Wingels over the summer with a three-year contract extension worth $7.4 million. Wingels also had the opportunity to play for Team USA in the World Championships.
2014-15 Prediction
With general manager Doug Wilson insistent that the team will rely on its younger players in the coming years, Wingels has the opportunity to gain more responsibility and help better the team. Not only will he continue to improve on his stats, but he will continue to be just as physical on the ice. Perhaps overlooked compared to some of the other talent on the roster, Wingels will begin to prove he is indeed a part of the core group of younger players coming into the limelight. That is if he can remain healthy the entire season.
