Today we look at the best number 20 in San Jose Sharks history. Unfortunately, the best number 20 San Jose Sharks player is Evgeni Nabokov, who we already highlighted with the best number 35 in San Jose Sharks history. So I decided to look at the best number 20 to ever play in the NHL. Unfortunately, the two options were Luc Robitaille and Ed Belfour, both of whom Sharks fans are not exactly fond of, so I don’t feel like focusing on them either.

Instead, we will look at the worst San Jose Shark to wear the number 20. The crazy thing is he’s never played a game with the Sharks yet. It’s John Scott.

John Scott signed this offseason with the San Jose Sharks and he is known around the league for being a goon. Meaning he adds literally nothing to the hockey club except his ability to fight. It’s an ongoing mystery why the Sharks decided to sign him this offseason. Especially considering they already had a known goon in Mike Brown. However, for some reason they brought him in. Here’s hoping he ends up being a healthy scratch and hardly plays much for the Sharks this year. If he does, some 4th liner much more deserving than him will be very upset.

Tune in tomorrow where we look at the best number 19 of all time, and you’re right, it isn’t up for debate.
