Sharks fans are very familiar with Tennyson, as he’s played games here and there at the national level. Over the summer, Tennyson was also re-signed to two-year contract with the Sharks franchise. During last season, Tennyson played 54 games with the Worcester Sharks, and recorded 21 points including seven goals and 14 assists.
Even with eight defensemen currently on the roster, there is a chance that the lines will need another right handed shot. After trading a right handed Jason Demers, for a left handed Brenden Dillon, Tennyson may have lucked into obtaining a spot in the lineup quickly. Especially since Saturday’s game had a lineup of consisting of two lefties: Mirco Mueller and Scott Hannan. Looks like the Sharks are in desperate need of a right handed shot.
This seems to be an excellent chance for Tennyson to prove himself at the national level.
