With the 2014-15 hockey season concluding earlier this week, it’s never too early to look ahead to next year. Earlier today, the San Jose Sharks announced their 2015 preseason schedule as the countdown to next season has already begun for Sharks fans.

The Sharks will play seven preseason games against three different opponents: the Anaheim Ducks, Arizona Coyotes and Vancouver Canucks. San Jose will open with back-to-back games against the Canucks on September 21 and 22. The opener will be a neutral site game held in North Saanich, British Columbia as part of the Kraft Hockeyville 2015.

San Jose will then return to the Bay Area and host three consecutive games at SAP Center. The Sharks will first play host to the Coyotes on September 25, host the Ducks the next night, before wrapping up the home portion of their preseason schedule on the 29th against Vancouver.

San Jose will then hit the road for the final two games of their preseason in early October. The Sharks will travel to Gil River Arena in the desert against Arizona, before finishing the preseason the next night at the Honda Center against Anaheim on October 3.

While the regular season schedule has yet to be announced, you can expect the Sharks to begin the 2015-16 campaign on either Wednesday, October 7 or Thursday, October 8.

San Jose’s training camp will begin in September and will be held at Sharks Ice.
