The San Jose Sharks and general manager Doug Wilson were plenty busy with the 2015 NHL Entry Draft, but they found the time to sign three players as well.
The Sharks announced on Saturday that the organization has resigned Karl Stollery, Petter Emanuelsson, and signed Jeremy Langlois. All three players inked one-year deals.
Stollery, 27, is the only one of the trio who has any NHL experience, albeit in a very limited capacity. Stollery has played in 12 games during his career, including five with San Jose this past season. He has yet to record a point yet at the NHL level.
Stollery did record 20 points (seven goals and 13 assists) in 60 games in the AHL as he split time between Worcester and Lake Erie, the AHL affiliate of the Colorado Avalanche. Stollery was acquired from Colorado on March 2, 2015. Here’s a breakdown of how Stollery’s season with the Sharks went.

Emanuelsson, 23, battled injuries during his stint with Worcester, but he did manage to net four goals in six games. Emanuelsson spent the previous five seasons with Skelleftea of the Swedish Hockey League, where he was a teammate of Melker Karlsson, who also resigned with San Jose.
Langlois, 25, also struggled through an injury-riddled campaign with the Worcester Sharks. In 42 games, Langlois scored 16 goals and 10 assists after signing as a free agent with Worcester on September 8, 2014.
Trade News
The Sharks weren’t done with personnel decisions as they also found the time to make a trade with the Vancouver Canucks to acquire a defenseman. No it wasn’t the long rumored trade that would net San Jose Kevin Bieksa.
Instead, the Sharks sent a 2015 seventh round pick (number 210 overall) to the Canucks in exchange for defenseman Patrick McNally.
McNally, 23, was originally a fourth round pick of Vancouver back in 2010, and has spent the past four seasons playing for Harvard. During those four seasons, McNally amassed 14 goals and 46 assists in 82 collegiate games.
