The Sharks have a few questions to answer when it comes to their roster composition heading into next season. San Jose will definitely be using these games to help decipher who they will be relying on to fill out the top six and the bottom tier of their forward group.

Unlike in previous seasons where most of the roster where there wasn’t really much to worry about when it came to who will be playing the big minutes. The 2019 – 2020 Sharks will have to find a way to off-set the loss of Joe Pavelski, Gus Nyquist, and Joonas Donskoi.

The San Jose Sharks coaching staff and fans a like will be paying close attention to emerging prospects Sasha Chmelevski, Alex True, Ivan Chekhovich, and Joachim Blichfeld. Not to the mention the additions of skaters like Jonny Brodzinski  and Dalton Prout. It’ll be fascinating to track the progress of how all these relative new comers to the Bay can build chemistry with the regulars already on Team Teal’s roster.

Unlike last year where the preseason had tremendous hype and excitement this years training camp seems clouded with a sense of the unknown, something Sharks fans haven’t had to deal with in some time

Nevertheless, San Jose is bringing back a formidable roster and it will be fun to track as they try to navigate their way through the regular season and hopefully into another Stanley Cup Playoffs birth.
