The San Jose Sharks are entering their 25th anniversary as a franchise, and to help honor their history, the Sharks are going to have a new jersey to help commemorate their history in teal. The San Jose Sharks released their new Heritage Jersey on Saturday at their second annual Fan Fest event.

The Sharks will wear their jerseys on three occasions during the 2015-16 season: Nov. 3 against the Columbus Blue Jackets, Dec. 1 against the Pittsburgh Penguins and Jan. 18 against the Ottawa Senators.

The Heritage Jerseys have themes of each of the San Jose Sharks jerseys throughout the years. The main Shark logo on the center of the jersey reverts back to the original logo when the franchise first broke into the NHL. The new jerseys bring back the original flavor of the Sharks’ uniforms and will provide a nice tribute to the beginnings of the franchise and the introduction of teal.

The Heritage Jerseys are available for purchase at the Sharks Store.
